Our tours are designed for all passengers to enjoy, so please consider the following when assessing the suitability of a trip.

Self-sufficiency: Passengers must be reasonably healthy, mobile, and able to participate fully in all tour activities.
Pick-up points: Our day trips generally have three Peninsula pick-up locations – Rosebud, Mornington, and Frankston. Passengers need to make their own way to these points.
Mobility: Our coaches are not equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts. Unfortunately, wheelchairs and motorised scooters cannot be accommodated.
Walkers: If you use a mobility walker, please advise our staff when booking.
Getting on and off the coach: Passengers must be able to board and disembark unassisted. Our friendly driver is happy to offer an arm for stability if needed.
Support needs: Passengers requiring extra assistance must travel with an able-bodied carer. Full tour fees apply for carers.
Tour escort: Our driver is also your tour escort and will provide general support to all passengers. Tour guides and fellow travellers are not able to provide personal care or assistance.

This includes the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne & Suburbs & some regional areas.
If you live in a regional area, please call us to discuss the possibility of collecting you from home (there may be an additional cost for regional pick ups)
Due to strict government vehicle weight restrictions and to comply with occupational health and safety regulations for our crew, each passenger is permitted one medium-sized suitcase with a maximum total luggage weight of 15kg.

We recommend using a wheeled suitcase for ease of manoeuvrability, ensuring it is of a size and weight you can comfortably manage independently when required.

Please note that some tours may have different luggage requirements. If this applies to your tour, you will be advised at the time of booking.

In addition to your checked luggage, one piece of hand luggage may be carried onboard the coach for your personal items.

Any excess luggage costs imposed by airlines are the responsibility of the passenger.

Daytripper Tours will not be held responsible for any loss or theft of baggage or personal belongings. We strongly recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance to cover such circumstances.

CANCELLATION OF YOUR BOOKING
$100 non refundable admin fee on all extended trips 
The reservations we make on your behalf are subject to cancellation fees from hotels, attractions, and associated companies etc, making it necessary to enforce strict cancellation policies. If you cancel a reservation any time prior to the departure of your tour the following cancellation fees will apply: 
Coach Travel:
 Deposits (less $100 admin fee) are refundable up until 30 days prior to the trip. 30 days or less prior to departure 100% cancellation fee will apply. 
Air Travel: 
Deposits (less $100 admin fee) are refundable up until 95 days prior to departure. Cancellations from 94 days or less prior to departure 100% cancellation fee will apply. Some of our tours may have different cancellation timelines due to the supplier’s terms & conditions. We will list these on the itinerary and in the body of your invoice so please ensure you read these documents thoroughly. 
Please note we strongly recommend you take out adequate travel insurance to cover you against these cancellation fees in the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your participation on the tour. 
If Daytripper Tours must cancel a tour due to Government restrictions all Daytripper Tours cancellation fees are waived. In the instance where suppliers have been prepaid (theatre shows, accommodation, airfares etc) refunds may be delayed until funds have been returned by the suppliers to Daytripper Tours. Under government restrictions circumstances all monies paid will be given as a Daytripper Tours Credit or a Refund (less bank/credit card fees).

SINGLE TRAVELLERS
For those travelers requiring twin share, we will endeavor to match you with a travelling companion however if we are unable to provide a companion for you to share with, a single supplement may apply.

CHANGES TO THE TOUR ITINERARY 
Daytripper Tours reserves the right to alter or omit any part of the itinerary or change the reservation, features and/or means of conveyance without notice. Daytripper Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour should it not reach minimum numbers and clients will be notified prior to departure should this occur, and monies paid shall be refunded. Daytripper Tours will not be held responsible for weather-based cancellations or those closures made at the venue’s discretion. 

RESPONSIBILITY 
Daytripper Tours does not accept liability for failure on the part of transportation companies, hotel contractors and other principles whose responsibility is confined to their own operations. All ticket coupons and orders are furnished and issued subject in all respects to those terms and conditions under which the means of transportation or other services provided thereby are offered or supplied by owners, operators, public carriers, management agents or agents. 

YOUR HEALTH & ABILITY TO TRAVEL 
To assist with the protection of our staff and your fellow travellers - if you are unwell, please stay home and inform us by email or phone (leave a message if the phone is busy or the call is out of hours). If whilst touring with us you become unwell please notify your tour leader.  Your transport home will need to be arranged and we will help you to notify your emergency contact who can then assist you with this. Daytripper Tours cannot take responsibility for accompanying you or funding your transport home. This is why travel insurance is vital. Our tours are developed specifically for our senior travellers. Most tours require a medium/low level of senior fitness. Our stay put tours are developed with a more relaxed pace in mind. Please make sure you let us know if you use any mobility aids (walker etc) when booking your trip. You run the risk of not being able to bring your walker if we haven’t been notified and if there isn’t any room on the bus. 

PASSENGER CODE OF CONDUCT
Daytripper Tours has a passenger code of conduct. Daytripper Tours have a seat rotation program which applies to all passengers on all tours. We will endeavour to accommodate any passengers who experience travel sickness, however requests to sit in specific seats on the coach may not be guaranteed. Daytripper Tours representatives/crew or any carrier reserves the right at its discretion to exclude from a tour, or to terminate the travel arrangements of, any person during the course of the tour without refund, anyone who:
  • Fails to comply with the reasonable instructions of a Daytripper Tours representative.
  • Engages in illegal or undesirable behaviour or interferes with the enjoyment of or jeopardises the safety of other tour participants. 
  • Is likely to become objectionable to other passengers,Daytripper Tours staff and/ or third-party suppliers. 
  • Refuses to co-operate with the Daytripper Tours seat rotation plan each day. 
  • Daytripper Tours reserves the rights to deny transport / services to any persons deemed to be acting in an aggressive or disrespectful manner towards staff, other passengers, or other people. Including those who are in an overly disturbing, intoxicated or inebriated state.
Anyone so excluded will be required to disembark at a safe public location, transport from which will be wholly their responsibility. You agree that Daytripper Tours is released from all liability for You and You agree not to hold Daytripper Tours responsible for termination of Your travel arrangements, in accordance with these conditions, or any decision made by Daytripper Tours or by any service provider who refuses to provide You with special accommodation facilities or services, that are not available or who refuses to carry You by reason of any disability or medical condition. No refund for the unused portion of your tour shall be given.

TERMS & CONDITIONS 

CANCELLATION OF BOOKING
Day Trips - ($25 admin fee) If a passenger cancels from a day trip, a refund (less bank/credit card fees) will be received provided the cancellation is 7 days or more from the departure date. (less $25 admin fee) 
Matinees - ($50 admin fee) If a passenger cancels from a matinee, a refund (less bank/credit card fees) will be available provided the cancellation is 90 days or more from the tour date. Cancellations after 90 days are not refundable. We can try to resell your ticket; however, success is not guaranteed. (less $50 admin fee) 
Some of our tours may have different cancellation timelines due to the supplier’s terms & conditions. We will list these in the body of your invoice so please ensure you read the document thoroughly. If Daytripper Tours must cancel a tour due to Government restrictions all Daytripper Tours cancellation fees are waived. In the instance where suppliers have been prepaid (theatre shows, etc) refunds may be delayed until the suppliers have returned funds to Daytripper Tours. Under government restrictions circumstances, all monies paid will be given as a Daytripper Tours Credit or a Refund (less bank/credit card fees). 

INSURANCE 
We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover against illness or accident, cancellation, loss of luggage etc. 

GROUP ORGANISED TRIPS 
Tours are quoted on 20 passengers minimum unless otherwise advised. You are to notify Daytripper Tours AT LEAST 14 days prior to a day trip if you are having difficulty reaching the minimum number requirement so we can advertise the spare seats. Final numbers must be advised to Daytripper Tours no later than 7 days prior (unless supplier terms state otherwise). An invoice will be issued for final numbers and must be paid by the due date. Payments after the date or on the trip are not permitted. As we prepay our suppliers, some who order in supplies, any reduction in final numbers after 7 days before the tour date will not reduce the invoice amount. (we suggest that you receive payment from group members before confirmed numbers are due) 

CHANGES TO THE TOUR ITINERARY
 
Daytripper Tours reserves the right to alter or omit any part of the itinerary or change the reservation, features and/or means of conveyance without notice. Daytripper Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour should it not reach minimum numbers and clients will be notified prior to departure should this occur, and monies paid shall be refunded. Daytripper Tours will not be held responsible for weather-based cancellations or those closures made at the venue’s discretion. 

RESPONSIBILITY 
Daytripper Tours does not accept liability for failure on the part of transportation companies, hotel contractors and other principles whose responsibility is confined to their own operations. All ticket coupons and orders are furnished and issued subject in all respects to those terms and conditions under which the means of transportation or other services provided thereby are offered or supplied by owners, operators, public carriers, management agents or agents. 

YOUR HEALTH & ABILITY TO TRAVEL 
To assist with the protection of our staff and your fellow travellers - if you are unwell it is imperative that you stay home and inform us immediately by email or phone (leave a message if the phone is busy or the call is out of hours). If whilst touring with us, you become unwell please notify your tour leader immediately and we will assist in any way possible. Daytripper Tours cannot take responsibility for accompanying you or funding your transport home. 
Our tours are developed specifically for our senior travellers. Most tours require a medium/low level of senior fitness. Please make sure you let us know if you use any mobility aids (walker etc) when booking your tour. You run the risk of not being able to bring your walker/aid if we haven’t been notified and if there isn’t any room on the bus.
