CAPE YORK INFORMATION

HOW WILL YOU TRAVEL?
We will travel these remote regions in a purpose-built Isuzu off road 4WD tour-vehicles with reclining seats, footrests, retractable seatbelts and panoramic windows, road cam, TV and on-board toilet. With maximum of 24 passengers, you will have the ultimate opportunity to enjoy Cape York at its best. You are promised nothing short of a high-class adventure into remote Australia on a unique and quality tour.

FITNESS LEVEL 
A reasonable level of mobility and fitness is required for this tour. Guests must be able to comfortably board and alight from a 4WD vehicle, which may involve higher steps than a standard coach. The itinerary also includes several walks, some on uneven ground or natural surfaces.
Please note: Mobility walkers are not recommended for this tour.

LUGGAGE LIMITS 
Due to Government Workplace Health and Safety Regulations luggage cannot exceed 10kg.
Luggage space is VERY LIMITED, so please restrict your luggage to ONE small SOFT travel bag, wheels are fine, approximate measurements (300mm x 300mm x 700 mm) and a small day pack per person. Any excess luggage can usually be stored at your hotel.

ACCOMMODATION
Our overnight stays reflect the unique and remote regions we’ll be travelling through, offering an authentic experience of life in Far North Queensland. While the style of accommodation varies from place to place, all properties provide clean, comfortable rooms with private ensuite facilities unless otherwise noted.

Cape York Peninsula Lodge – 13 rooms with ensuites.
Bramwell Station – 12 rooms with ensuites. 1 basic room with shared bathroom facilities.
The Albatross Resort, Weipa – 13 standard rooms with ensuites. 
Musgrave Station – 13 basic rooms with ensuites.
The Sovereign Hotel, Cooktown – 13 rooms with ensuites. 
Not all rooms are located / can be located on the ground floor. 
There is no porter service, passengers will need to carry their own luggage from/to their rooms.
