ELVIS: Direct from Graceland. Created in partnership with Graceland, this exclusive exhibition explores the extraordinary life and style of Elvis Presley. Direct from the Graceland archive, the exhibition features a wide range of costumes and ultra-cool outfits, vintage memorabilia, and treasured items from his beloved Graceland home. Fashion highlights include Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding outfits, the repurposed ’68 Special costume he wore to meet President Nixon, a dazzling array of Vegas jumpsuits and the bongos Priscilla gifted him on their first Christmas together in 1959. The next Exhibition we will visit is
DA VINCI MACHINES: Dare to Imagine. Da Vinci did not limit his thinking to the times within which he lived, but rather imagined a future where his ideas were not only possible, but doable. He was hailed as the “Renaissance Man” for his unrestrained creativity and his determination not to allow failure to get in the way of a great idea. Created by the acclaimed Artisans of Florence, this international exhibition consists of carefully reconstructed, and functional, machines which were invented by Da Vinci in the 15th Century, as well as excellent recreations of some of his most famous paintings.
Along with these exhibitions we'll also spend some time in Maldon and enjoy a historic train trip from Maldon to Castlemaine on the Victorian Gold Fields Railway - first class of course!
We'll finish this fabulous trip with a delicious winery lunch before returning home
